Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Workado, LLC ("BusinessLendingMatch", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use this website and our matching service. By using the site you agree to this policy and our Terms of Use.

The short version

  • We use your answers to match your request with the lender in our network that best fits it. In most cases that is one lender, and never more than 2.
  • We do not sell your request to lists, lead brokers or data brokers.
  • The lender we match you with gets your contact details and request so they can help you, and we give you theirs.
  • You can ask us to stop sharing, tell you what we hold, correct it or delete it at any time.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Your name, work email, phone number, preferred contact method, business name, website, ZIP code and the answers you choose in our forms (for example the amount you need, time in business, revenue range, estimated credit range and background questions), plus anything you write in a message to us.

Information collected automatically. Your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, the time you spent on the site, the ad, link or campaign that brought you here (such as UTM tags and ad click IDs), and similar data collected with cookies, pixels and comparable tools.

Information from others. Public and commercial business information used to verify and complete your business details (for example company size, industry and website), and feedback from the lenders we match you with about whether they reached you and how the request went.

We do not ask for your Social Security number, bank account numbers or date of birth, and we do not check your credit. A lender may ask for these and may check your credit if you choose to apply with them.

How we use information

  • To match your request with the best-fit lender and pass it to them
  • To contact you about your request, including follow-ups asking how it went so we can improve our recommendations
  • To verify information, prevent fraud, spam and abuse, and keep the site secure
  • To run, analyze and improve the site and our service
  • To measure and improve our advertising
  • To comply with law and enforce our terms

How we share information

With the lender we match you with. When you submit a request, we share it with the lender in our network that best fits your answers and preferences, never more than 2, so they can contact you about it. Once they have it, their own privacy policy also applies to how they use it.

With service providers that work for us under contract, such as hosting, email and text delivery, customer support, data verification, analytics and security providers.

With advertising platforms such as Meta and Google, through cookies, pixels and server-side conversion tools, to measure which ads lead to requests and to show relevant ads. See "Cookies and advertising" below.

For legal reasons, when required by law or legal process, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, our partners or us.

In a business transfer, such as a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

Some state privacy laws treat sharing your request with a lender, and some advertising cookies, as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time (see "Your choices and rights").

Calls, texts and emails

If you give consent when you submit a request, we and the lender we match you with may contact you at the number and email you provide, by phone call, text message or email, including with automated technology and prerecorded or artificial voice messages, about your request. Consent is not required to obtain any product or service. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts and HELP for help, use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email hi@businesslendingmatch.com. We do not share your mobile number or text consent with third parties for their own marketing; we share it only with the lender we match you with, about your request.

Cookies and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools to remember your answers while you fill out the form, to understand how the site is used, and to measure and personalize ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a request to opt out of sale, sharing and targeted advertising for that browser. You can also use the opt-out tools offered by Meta, Google and the Digital Advertising Alliance.

Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

  • stop sharing your information with lenders and stop using it for targeted advertising (Do not sell or share my info)
  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and who we shared it with
  • correct it or delete it
  • stop contacting you

Residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon and other states with consumer privacy laws have these rights under those laws. We verify requests by matching the email or phone you used. You may use an authorized agent, and if we decline a request you can appeal by replying to our decision. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights. Requests that reach a lender after we have shared your information should also be sent to that lender.

California notice at collection. Categories we collect: identifiers, commercial and business information, internet activity, approximate location from your ZIP code or IP address, and inferences about the products that may fit you. Sources and purposes are described above. We keep each category as described under "Keeping data". We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require a right to limit.

Keeping data

We keep request data for as long as we need it for the purposes above, generally up to 3 years after your last request, and longer when required for legal, tax or dispute purposes. We then delete or de-identify it.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive financial details through our forms.

Children

This site is for adults acting for a business. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes apply only to information collected after the change.
